Gary Andersen takes time to say good-bye to Utah State players.
Gary Andersen, the reported new head coach at Wisconsin, is leaving Utah State in a fundamentally decent way:
Hearing that Gary Andersen is still calling Utah State players this morning. Goal is to talk to every one. Not many coaches would do that.

We noted last night that he is taking the Wisconsin job just days after telling people he was staying at Utah State and two months after signing an extension through 2018. This should go a ways toward easing any bruised feelings.
