Rob Long and John Shinn giving Wisconsin and Michigan State the rankings of 18 and 19, respectively, is a slap in the face. What football do these guys watch?

Long is a radio guy in Baltimore who had 5 “extreme rankings” – either highest or lowest of any voter – in the latest poll: Southern Miss at 12, Stanford at 13, Wisconsin at 18, Northern Illinois at 20, and Kansas State at 25.
John Shinn is from Norman, Oklahoma. He was more or less in line with everyone, except on the Spartans. And Oklahoma. Only three voters had the Sooners ranked higher.
