Gunner Kiel isn’t the only one reconsidering his commitment to Indiana’s floundering football program.
The Courier-Journal reports:
Indiana University football coach Kevin Wilson lost another recruit when Pickerington, Ohio, Central safety Sebastian Smith said he was re-opening the process.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Smith told several scouting services he re-opened the recruiting process after getting some interest from Nebraska.
He will make an official visit to Nebraska next weekend.
Nebraska is busy trolling for players previously committed to other Big Ten schools. Brent Wilkerson, a tight end/defensive end from Maryland who planned to attend Penn State (before the unpleasantness), also is taking his official visit to Nebraska this weekend, the Washington Post reports.

I’m waiting for the damn story saying: Wisconsin hosting former PSU recruits (not so worried about the former IU ones, Mr. Tony.) Every school in the Big Ten it seems is hosting these guys except Bucky. We have a lot of holes to fill Brett — especially on defense if you weren’t paying attention this past Monday. Oh yeah, you weren’t paying attention for most of the game. My bad.

What? Then graduate school quarterback pipeline run dry?

I’m hoping not. I’ve got Maryland’s Danny O’Brien on the radar. Their new coach is running him out of town. But I’m a nobody.
