Hey, look, just what Penn State needs – more legal problems in Happy Valley, according to Fight On State:
According to sources within the Penn State football program, backup quarterback Rob Bolden is dealing with what is being described as a “minor” legal issue.
It is unclear whether the problem will impact his playing status.
The sources said an off-field incident involving Bolden occurred Friday evening. Bolden practiced with the team Saturday and took part in a squad meeting late Saturday afternoon.
When asked about the issue by the Patriot-News, coach Tom Bradley declined to comment other than to say Bolden was practicing with the team.
We can assume the issue is indeed minor, though Penn State really hasn’t earned the benefit of the doubt recently, has it?
They may need Bolden, given starter Matt McGloin was treated and released for a possible concussion and seizure after a fight with Curtis Drake in the locker room Saturday.
