You Can Take the Man Out of Flint…Or Can You?

December 9, 2011

MSU Hoops

Everyone’s favorite former Spartan Charlie Bell had an, um, eventful hearing on Thursday related to an October DUI charge in Flint, Michigan.  Seems Bell showed up to court legally drunk.  To a hearing on a DUI charge that he was facing.

Let’s allow that to sink in for a moment.

I have all sorts of questions.  Did he drive to his court hearing?  Did his lawyer know he was drunk?  How much does an NBA player have to drink to blow a .09?  Are the Bucks still paying some of his salary?

I happen to know the GM of the Golden State Warriors a little bit.  I think he will be displeased with Mr. Bell’s past few months.  I would expect to read a headline in the coming days where he is no longer a member of the Warriors.

A side note: Until the DB10 gets a regular Michigan State writer, I’m just going to keep pumping out negative information on the Spartans, past and current.

Also, for a good time, go to Google Images and just search under “drunk”.

I don’t see why not. Golden State might have to throw in Beidrins.
